dart OCM is a browser based pathology order communications solution, designed specifically to meet the needs of both individual users and hospital pathology departments.

Accessed through the web browser it can be used for hospital-to-hospital ordering and order communications both in the hospital and at primary care level.

Our solution enables users to easily input patient information validated against a master index of choice, clinical information both coded and free text and clinical tests based on the coding tables of the hospital while delivering appropriate patient advice.

Users can check on the progress of current tests and links to results reporting systems can be configured such that when a primary care clinician makes a request, dart OCM checks if the same test has been conducted on that patient within a particular timeframe providing a valuable opportunity to manage demand.

Through our partnerships with the suppliers, Plumtree Group has ensured that DART OCM is compatible with all the nationally recognised GP systems.
