SpecimenSak is a unique specimen request solution, which combines a specimen request form with an integral plastic bag specifically designed to pass through a laser printer.

Plumtree Group has developed SpecimenSak as a solution for the problems commonly associated with traditional ‘bag attached’ request forms. The integral plastic bag, which has been designed to pass through a laser printer, prints form layout, patient and clinical data at the touch of a button.

SpecimenSak is provided as a plain form. The only pre-printed details at manufacture are the instructions on how to use the product. This leaves a completely plain surface that can be laid out to the individual user’s specification, can be freely modified once in use, and easily facilitates the addition of barcodes.

SpecimenSak can be fully integrated with DART OCM electronic order communications software, electronic patient records and pathology request solutions, allowing request forms to be printed at source.
