Midlands based Plumtree Group was formed in 1973 as Mailmate Limited and started life as a forms broker supplying commercial and government organisations with barcode labels, report forms and request forms.
During the 1980’s, the company diversified and introduced printers, electronic forms and technical support to it’s growing portfolio of strategic printing solutions. A period of sustained growth followed, driven predominantly by the development of niche products for specific vertical markets and a continued rise in billing and marketing fulfilment services.
Following a management buy-out in 2003 the company changed its name to Plumtree Group, to better reflect the breadth of information management solutions now offered in addition to transactional mail services. As testament to their continued confidence in the company, the founding partners remain as shareholders, supported by a new Board of Directors and senior management team.
Plumtree Group continues to enjoy exponential growth through the development of its unique portfolio of IT-based information management solutions. With specific emphasis on data recognition, document management and order communications solutions, Plumtree Group has evolved into one of the UK’s leading suppliers to the healthcare sector and benefits from a substantial client base within the corporate sector.
